In the year 2017, we watched the inauguration (January 20) of President Trump as well as a rare total eclipse (August 21) in the continental United States. It has been a good year in spite of the public name-calling and subtle bullying we’ve witnessed. As we approach the end of 2017, some things about the past year may influence 2018.

On Saturday morning, I put my bottle of water into the cup holder in my car.  It tipped to the side.  I looked to see what obstacle caused the slant.  It was a plastic reindeer ring.  I smiled to myself, and enjoyed that little granddaughter moment, because they won’t be forever.

With Christmas just a few days away, I figured I’d break down some of my favorite Christmas songs/hymns. 

Christmas is coming with all its joy and wonder. It’s a time when many of us look around and thank God for our many blessings.
