Roy E. Ragland

Roy E. Ragland, 87, of Bowling Green passed away May 25, 2015, at the Hospice House. The Butler County native was a graduate of South Warren High School and Eastern Kentucky University. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He retired from the Kentucky State Police after a thirty-two year career. Starting as a trooper, he later served as post commander of the Lebanon barracks and assistant post commander in Bowling Green. He was a faithful member of Greenwood Park Church of Christ where he formerly served as a deacon and an elder.

Michael John Georgieff, 49 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his residence. Michael was born June 5, 1965 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Louis Alex and Alice Fay Embry Georgieff who survives.

Lorann Cardwell Hardin age 50 of Morgantown, died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday at 2:58 pm at the Hospice Center of Bowling Green. She was born in Warren County to the late Eugene Cardwell and Patsy Sue Guess Finn who survives. She worked Production Line at Huish and for Houchens in the Deli. She was a member of the Old Log Church at Riverside. She was a graduate from the Univeristy of Phoenix with her Associate Degree in Elementary Education.

Daphna Leibolt Moore, 83 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her residence. Daphna was born October 27, 1931 in Aberdeen, Kentucky to the late Ralph Raymond and Alta Cannon Leibolt. She was a member of Pathway Baptist Church of Cromwell, Ky., 50 plus year member of Dexterville Homemakers Club and retired cook, factory worker and homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Archie J Moore and sister Alwanda Leibolt Robinson.

Eviadean Embry Green, 93 of Woodburn, Ky. passed away Tuesday May 19, 2015 at the Hopkins Nursing Home in Woodburn, Ky. Eviadean was born on April 22, 1922 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Cliffy and Virgie Burden Evans. She was a member of Gospel of Peace Tabernacle in Bowling Green, Ky. and a homemaker. Eviadean is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Arnum A. Embry, two sons Richard Glen Embry and Gerald A. Embry, three brothers O.D., Ralph and Chelton Evans and two sisters Mable Evans Rose and Folsom Mitchell.

Mary E. Teague

Mary E. Teague, 96, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab.  She was born in Burns City, Indiana on December 11, 1918 daughter of the late Hayden and Ruby Sargent Osborne.  Mary worked at Rice’s as a clerk for many years. Preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Ashby in 2009.

Survivors include 2 sons; Gary (Shannon) Teague, Roger (Doris) Teague, 2 daughters; Roberta (Frank) Anderson, Cheryl (Larry) Morris, 12 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Kevin Douglas Diehl, 42 of Muscatine, Iowa formerly of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday May 17, 2015 on Illinois Route 62 in Rock Island, Illinois. Kevin was born November 18,1972 in Hardinsburg, Ky. to the late Douglas Diehl and  his parents Roger and Anita Payne Gossett who survives. He was of the Catholic Faith, 1991 graduate of Butler County High School, 1996 Western Kentucky University graduate and member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at WKU.

Elizabeth "Betty" Moore

Betty Moore, 62, of  Russellville, Ky., formerly of Woodbury, Ky.  passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at Creekwood  Nursing & Rehab Center in Russellville, Ky.  She was born in Louisville, Ky. on December 13, 1952  to the late William Fletcher and Eunice Elizabeth Lykins Moore.  Ms. Moore worked as a Legal Secretary for Judge Sue Carol Browning in Russellville, Ky., and had a love for her cats.
