The Butler County Lady Bears finshed the opening week of season with a bang on Thursday, December 4, with a 60-47 win at Russellville. Senior guard Shawna West led the team with 25 points, while freshmen forward Maddy Murphy pitched in 15 points for the win.

Coming off a 14-11 record and another 12th District championship, the Butler County High School Bears' basketball team is hoping to reload for its 2014-15 season. To do so, Coach Calvin Dockery's Bears will have to replace three seniors that loomed large in the program over the past few years.

The Oak Ridge Warriors and Lady Warriors traveled to Glasgow Christian Academy November 18 bringing home two wins and one loss .The Lady Warriors began the night with a 31-20 win. Leading the Warriors was Hannah Burden with 20 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assist, 4 steals and 1 block.
