It was a tough outing for the Butler County High School football team on Friday night as the Bears fell hard to district foe Union County in Morganfield. Plagued by injuries early in the game, the Bears got behind early and dropped a 49-16 decision.

The girls’ middle school basketball team started their season off at home Thursday, September 19th, with a 7th and 8th grade win against Hancock Co. Middle School. The team is led by five 8th graders this year.
