Butler County hosted Todd County on Friday night in their last regular season district game. The Bears easily took command of the game and never looked back winning 49-10 over the Rebels. The BCHS Marching Band, Butler County NJROTC, cheerleaders, and fans were all on hand to support the Bears.

The Butler Co. Bears improved to 6-2 overall on the season with a key district win over the McLean Co. Cougars 62-24 this past Friday night on the road at McLean Co. HS.

The BCHS Boys’ Golf ended the season on several good notes. Although in a rebuilding season, Coach Greg Moore exclaimed in joy, “I am ecstatic about the accomplishments by so many players on this year’s squad!”

The Bears moved to (5-2) overall, and (1-1) in district with a convincing 49-14 win at home over the Hancock Co. Hornets. The Bears took the opening drive fifty-eight yards in only nine plays; senior running back Ian Embry scoring from three yards out, the kick went wide right.

On the morning of Saturday, September 26, 2015 41 cadets from the Butler County NJROTC program went to participate in the Paducah Tilghman field meet. This meet consists of many different sporting events ranging from a 50 meter dash to dodgeball.

Week 6 for the Bears was a hard loss to Ownesboro Catholic 14-53. The Bears struggled to get the offense going and the Aces prove too hard to handle on Friday night. Several fans made the trip and school spirit was great. We are sure the Bears will get back on the winning track next week as Ha
