The Butler County High School basketball program held its annual Meet the Team Night on Friday, November 20, at the B.C.H.S.  A nice crowd turned out to get their first look at both the Bears' and Lady Bears' basketball squads for the upcoming 2015-16 season.

The Butler Co. Bears football season came to a close with a 50-0 loss to traditional powerhouse Mayfield Cardinals.   The Bears would take the opening kickoff and drive to the Mayfield fifteen yard line.

Deer season arrived in Butler County on Saturday,  November 14th. Hunters were out in the woods and several nice deer were taken .  Here is a few pictures of some lucky hunters. Send us your pictures to [email protected]

The Bears' season wrapped up in the 12th week as they fell to Mayfield in the second round of the playoffs.  Butler County finished the season 9-3.  Thank you players and coaches for a great year.

The Butler County School Archery teams traveled to Henderson on Saturday to compete. The team is coached by Robert Redmond and assistant coaches Tim Flener and Bobby McKee.

Butler County Jr. Pro Football will be competing tomorrow in the King of the Hill Classic in Owensboro, Kentucky.  The 30th annual event will feature over 40 of the best youth fooball programs from Kentuck and surrounding states.  Butler County is coached by Travor Martin.

Cross Country season has come to an end with the entire girls team qualifying for state and Bryar Beasley and Nolan Johnson qualifying for state from the boys team.  The boys team placed 4th in the region and they only took the first 3 teams.
