I never tried my hand at poetry much. But Mrs. Kitchens out at Leetown once had a rooster named D-Gall. We liked Mrs. Kitchens a lot. When Bett and I would visit her, she’d always entertain us with the exploits of D-Gall (de gaulle).

When reading about Christ, I am impressed with how Christ changes people’s lives. For example, when Christ chose twelve men to be His apostles, He told some: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matt. 4:19-21). He later would turn these fishermen into mountain-climbers (Matt. 17:1)!

I am hoping there is deliverance. Four years ago my Dad was struggling to stay alive. Stricken with an illness that none of us understood, my Dad meandered back and forth between the Medical Center at Bowling Green, SKY Rehab and Vanderbilt University Hospital.
