RIGHT TO PLAY:  My children, especially before going with dad became something undignified for popularity, would often inquire about my intentions if they noticed me apparently getting ready to venture out away from home.

December is a month for cooking. We cook for events, for gifting and for family-and-friend gatherings. Many of us do more cooking in December than in any other month. But, sometimes it’s hard to think of another good dish. The recipes below may offer additional choices.

It took me four hours to put up my Christmas tree this year.  It’s a beautiful tree, but it’s one of those that you have to put together one limb at a time from the ground up.  It isn’t pre-lit, which means I had to string lights over and through each limb before moving on to the next. 

Oh, can it get any more beautiful? The sky at sunset…what a comfort knowing God blessed us with another day on this earth. When I saw this, I knew I would be stopping in the road to capture this beauty, I just can’t pass moments like this up.
