Sen. Rand Paul made a visit to Butler County Tuesday morning to discuss national and local issues in a town hall setting. He will visit 9 western Kentucky towns between today and tomorrow.

Kentucky U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R) made a stop at the Butler County Extension Office Tuesday morning to discuss current state and national issues. Senator Paul touched on issues such as unemployment, economic growth and the growing national deficit, noting the debt clock on the wall of his office.

The 2016 Butler County Stockman’s Association Cattle Sale is now in the books. It was considered a huge success bringing in $74,634. There were 42 heifers and 4 bulls sold during the annual auction. The average sale price for animals that were sold was just under $1,800.
