Guitarist Alonzo Pennington will play a free concert April 29 at Ohio County Artists Guild in Beaver Dam, part of the Kentucky Arts Council’s traveling exhibit “Makings of a Master,” which will be at the guild through May 31.

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Thumbpicking guitarist Alonzo Pennington will be the featured performer during the Kentucky Arts Council’s “Makings of a Master” exhibit’s stay in Beaver Dam through May 31. Pennington will perform a free concert Friday, April 29, from 7 pm. to 9 p.m.

UPDATE: The Belmont Church van was located this morning in Edmonson County on Boone Road.  The landowner found the van on his property and called the Kentucky State Police.  The van had been striped.

A recent rash of school bus stop arm violations has prompted school and law enforcement officials to team up in an effort to promote school bus safety. School bus drivers are reporting numerous violations of the state law that requires motorist to stop when the school bus stop sign is extended.
