The Butler County High School Marching Band hosted their second annual Drumline Camp this Thursday and Friday at BCHS. The camp was open not only to members of the BCHS Drumline but members of the surrounding counties drumlines as well.

The children at the Boys & Girls Club of Butler County held a special Hawaiian Luau this afternoon to mark the end of their Hawaiian unit of study.

Jordan Tyree recently graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Studies. Throughout college, Jordan worked with EKU Adventure Programs, leading hiking, climbing, and kayaking trips throughout the Red River Gorge and Cumberland Falls

On Tuesday, June 12 the First Baptist WMU members held their monthly meeting on Barren River Lake on the houseboat of Larry and Monical Davis. 15 members and two guests had a wonderful evening with perfect weather for watching the sunset on the lake.
