Pageants were held for the Queen of the Green River as part of the Rochester Festival. Adam Williams served as emcee for the event.

The Annual Rochester Festival resumed on Saturday, September 7, after the COVID-19 pandemic pause.
The festival day was packed with a diverse range of activities, from the energetic 5K race in the morning to the lively dancing and karaoke in the evening.

Ruby Pendley celebrated her 103rd birthday on August 29. She was born August 29, 1921, to Mervin and Myrtle Drake Beliles.
Ruby married Alton Pendley (deceased in 2006) on February 17, 1940. They were married by Oscar Carrol, with her brother Jay as a witness.

It’s pecan fundraising time for the Butler County Homemakers! Homemakers are taking orders for the FRESH 2024 crop of Schermer Pecans, either pieces, halves or chocolate halves, through October 11th. These are fresh pecans (fresh 2024 crop coming off the trees in September) and the Homemakers

The 2024 Butler County Field Day will offer something for everyone in the family.
