8th Annual Chalk Art Festival

The 8th Annual West Ohio Street Chalk Art Festival took place on September 7, 2024, in Morgantown, Kentucky.

Sponsored by the Butler County Arts Guild, this event showcased a variety of chalk art creations from local artists and community members, highlighting the community spirit.

Participants of all ages joined in, with school-age contests awarding prizes. Free treats such as popcorn, water, and ice pops just made the day better.

The event also featured music by Bella Robertson and Nanseera, face painting by Dakota Hayes, balloon art by Laura Simpkinson, as well as goat petting thanks to Jake and Anna Greinetz.

The festival was organized by the Chalk Art Festival committee, chaired by Cindy Green Howson.
