The Butler County Chapter of the DAR hosted a breakfast for all Veterans on November 9 at Butler County High School.
Debbie Worley welcomed everyone to the event. Gail Gaddie led the pledge to the flag, and Peggy Drake led the opening prayer.

The 2024 Farm Service Agency County Committee Elections began on Nov. 4, 2024, when ballots were mailed to eligible voters. The deadline to return ballots to local FSA offices, or to be postmarked, is Dec. 2, 2024.

On Thursday, November 7, several community members gathered at HeBrews Coffee Shop for a book signing event celebrating Jesus Holds My Hand, a new children’s book by local author Audrey Pendley.

The VFW Post 5837 Auxiliary proudly selects Bernard Ladell LittleHawk Laughing or "Hawk' as their Veteran of the Year.

The 34th Annual Calendar Girl Contest was held on Saturday, November 2, at the Butler County High School gym. Thirty-four young ladies competed for the 12 months and the cover of the 2025 calendar.

June 18, 1969, Stevie Joe Pharris enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 19.
