Often, we associate environmental topics with springtime, but you can be environmentally friendly any time of the year. Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, United States household waste increases by about 25%. This amounts to approximately 25 million tons of garbage.

Calendar Girl Loryn Robbins

The 32nd Annual Calendar Girl was held Saturday night, November 5 at the Butler County High School Gymnasium.  This event is the major fundraiser for the Butler County FCCLA.  This years Covergirl is Miss Loryn Robbins.

The Butler County High School Class of 1978 made a unique donation to Butler County High School on Thursday morning. A large concrete Bear was placed in the landscaping in front of the school along with a marker.

Roger was born in Leitchfield, KY, on September 13, 1948. He graduated from Ohio County High School in 1966 and attended the University of Evansville for one year. He entered the United States Army on December 13, 1968.
