New Beginnings Ministry, serving the people of Butler County since November 2010, has moved locations after outgrowing their previous one.

"George W. Eskridge" was the topic of the February History Month meeting of the Green River Chapter NSDAR on President's Day on February 20. Mr. Leon Eskridge, a direct descendant of the 17th Century barrister was the speaker.
Members of the BCHS SUPA, under the direction of Mr. Sam Hunt and Mr. Brandon Poole, have begun rehearsing for their upcoming performance of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." The play will run from April 20-22 with three performances available to the general public. Show times are 8 p.m.

Tristan Elmore, a sophomore at Butler County High School, placed first at the 2012 BRIMS Regional Bridge Building Championships sponsored by Scott & Murphy, Inc. and Stupp Bridge Company on March 10.

On Saturday, March 10th, the Butler County Middle School bridge building team won the BRIMS Regional Bridge Building Contest at Stupp Bridge Company in Bowling Green. In the middle school division, BCMS claimed 1st place out of 5 schools participating.
