A three-decade study has found rising rates of vaping and marijuana use among teens, especially unsupervised teens.

The frost seeding method allows seeds to be inter-seeded into undisturbed soils by scattering seed on top of the ground. The freezing and thawing action of the soil works the seeds into the soil where they can germinate.

Thomas Miller, an educator at Butler County High School in Morgantown, Kentucky, was recently selected as a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction by The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).

WKU has released the honors lists for the fall 2022 semester.


Tobin Maxfield has been awarded the Butler County Chapter Good Citizen award. She is the daughter of Dave and Courtney of Rochester.
This scholarship is based on GPA, ACT, and school and community activities. Tobin is active in clubs, sports, and community activities.
