The Little Muddy RD Club met December 19th, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.  There were 24 people present.  The meeting began with Jared Hudnall leading the club in the pledge to the American flag.  Rita Drake gave the blessing for the meal.

BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY - The search is on for the funniest---and most talented---kids in South Central Kentucky.  Auditions for "Kidz on Stage", formerly known as "Funniest Kids Around", will be held on Sunday, January 29th from 1:00p. to 4:00p.

Four Butler County High School students have been recommended by faculty/staff members for December student of the month honors based on attendance, promptness to class, participation in class, grades or attitude.  These students are Matthew Embry, Brittany Bingham, Danny Cowan, and Leslie Pace.

The U.S. Department of Education awarded a federal Transition to Teaching grant to the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative on behalf of 20 of its 36 member districts and their 96 schools in 2009.  The third cohort begins work in June 2012.

The Butler County Family Resource and Youth Services Centers would like to thank everyone that played a part in providing “Butler County Christmas Toys for Tots” for children in Butler County. It is amazing how this small county cares and gives so much.

The Fisher House at Fort Campbell, Kentucky was the destination of the Green River Society Children of the American Revolution on December 21. Wendy, the director, so graciously gave us a tour of the facility.

Anyone interested in donating money to help Chad and Carmen Flener and their kids, who lost their home in a fire yesterday, before January 1 can bring their gift by MCC tomorrow [Saturday December 31] between 2 & 5pm. You will also have the opportunity to give throughout January at MCC.
