September 14th at Butler County High School was a resounding success, attracting approximately 500 attendees.

In recognition of how literacy empowers and liberates people, recently, a proclamation was signed by community leaders declaring September as National Literacy Month.


Dr. Deborah Taylor Givens of Morgantown was awarded the Ann Shanks Bourne Award at the Democratic Woman's Club of Kentucky's 97th Annual Convention, which took place at the Deibel Barn in Maples Park, Crestwood, Kentucky.

Bells will be ringing all over the nation on September 17th in celebration of the signing of the draft of the Constitution of the United States of America. Ours was the first written Constitution for any nation.

The 8th Annual West Ohio Street Chalk Art Festival took place on September 7, 2024, in Morgantown, Kentucky.

Pageants were held for the Queen of the Green River as part of the Rochester Festival. Adam Williams served as emcee for the event.

The Annual Rochester Festival resumed on Saturday, September 7, after the COVID-19 pandemic pause.
The festival day was packed with a diverse range of activities, from the energetic 5K race in the morning to the lively dancing and karaoke in the evening.
