The Butler County Genealogy Society held their fourth annual homecoming event on Saturday at the Eva J. Hawes Building in Morgantown. Over 40 people from Louisiana, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, Lexington, Louisville and Butler County attended.

The first annual Get Fit With Heather 5K Run/Walk was held on Saturday, October 14th. The event was held to raise money for the Fitness Center located at the Butler County Development Center and ran by Heather Keown.
