Harvest on the Square was held on Saturday at the former Pamida building (soon to be the new Extension Office).  Over 50 booths set up both inside and outside offering a variety of items for sale.  Several long standing events were also held throughout the day.

Danya Moore Speaker at Clara Lee Circle and Linda Wood, Clara Lee Circle president

Danya Moore spoke on "Connecting Ministries," a Christian program through Owensboro First Baptist Church.  Danya shared this ministry with the members of the Clara Lee Circle of Morgantown First Baptist Church.  A large group of Circle members and visitors were in attendance.

Butler County High School celebrated Homecoming 2017 on Friday night.  Miss Olivia Jones was crowned Homecoming Queen.  She is the daughter of Marty and Haley Jones of Morgantown. Mr. Austin West was crowned Homecoming King.  He is the son of Cecil and Faye West of Morgantown.
