Harvest on the Square was held on Saturday at the former Pamida building (soon to be the new Extension Office). Over 50 booths set up both inside and outside offering a variety of items for sale. Several long standing events were also held throughout the day.

Butler County High School celebrated Homecoming 2017 on Friday night. Miss Olivia Jones was crowned Homecoming Queen. She is the daughter of Marty and Haley Jones of Morgantown. Mr. Austin West was crowned Homecoming King. He is the son of Cecil and Faye West of Morgantown.
