Judy Lee Ayers, 78 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Judy was born on Thursday, March 10, 1938 in Provo Kentucky to the late Reggie Wayne and Capitola Holman Lee and wife of the late Bobby Joe Ayers. She was a homemaker and a member of Morgantown First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing with the church choir and Ms. Lenny's Girls. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one grandson Chase Gribbins.
Judy Lee Ayers is survived by one daughter Suzi Ayers Gribbins (Scottie) of Nicholasville, Ky.; one son John Wayne Ayers (Peggy Hunter) of Rockville, TN; two grandsons John Christopher Ayers of Murfressboro, TN; Luke Gribbins of Nicholasville, Ky.; one granddaughter Morgan Gribbins of Nicholasville, Ky.; two sisters June Lee Pendley (James) of Morgantown, Ky. and Sandra Lee Blake (Mack) of Fort Meyers, FL and two nieces Joan Pendley of Bowling Green, Ky. and Jill Pendley England (Rodney) of Bowling Green, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 12:00pm with Rev. Darrin Jones and Rev. Randy Nielson officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 1:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
