BUDGET HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED USE OF COUNTY ROAD AID (CRA) & LOCAL GOVERNMENT ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE (LGEA) FUNDS

A public hearing will be held by Butler County at the courthouse on June 12, 2026 at 1:00pm CST/2:00pm EST for the purpose of obtaining citizens comments regarding the possible uses of the County Road Aid (CRA) & Local Government Economic Assistance (LGEA) Funds.

BY VIRTUE OF A DECREE AND ORDER OF SALE OF THE BUTLER CIRCUIT COURT, the Master Commissioner will sell at public auction the real property in the following action on Friday, June 19, 2026

BUTLER COUNTY FISCAL COURT WILL BE TAKING SEALED BIDS FOR THE FOLLOWING FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027:

- BITUMINOUS CONCRETE ASPHALT

- CRUSHED STONE

- EMULSIFIED ASPHALT

- ROAD TILE

- COLD MIX

- PETROLEUM

- RUBBER MODIFIED ASPHALT

SEALED BIDS MUST BE TURNED IN TO THE BUTLER COUNTY JUDGE EXECUTIVE’S OFFICE BY 2:00 PM ON THURSDAY, JUNE 1, 2026. SEALED BIDS MAY BE MAILED TO P.O. BOX 626 MORGANTOWN, KY 42261 OR HAND DELIVERED TO 110 NORTH MAIN STREET MORGANTOWN, KY 42261.

The Butler County Fiscal Court will be accepting proposals for the Animal Shelter to be outsourced. When proposal is accepted a contract will then be negotiated.  Must follow KRS requirements. 

Pick up KRS’ and requirements at Butler County Judge Executive’s Office between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm Monday – Friday. The Butler County Fiscal Court is an Equal Opportunity Employer. 

Dates on proposal will be July 01, 2026 to June 30, 2027

Deadline for sealed bids is Thursday, June 4, 2026 @ 2:00 pm and will be opened at 2:00 pm, June 4, 2026.

The HA of Beaver Dam will be accepting Sealed Bids for a 2008 White Ford F150. (actual miles = 86,249.8) Sealed bids can be turned in Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3030 James Court, Beaver Dam, KY. Bid opening will be at the HA office on May 11, 2026 at 11 CDT.  All bids must be received prior to the Bid Opening.

Buyer responsible for Transfer Fees. The HA has a right to reject any or all bids. Contact 270-274-7504 ext. 1001 or 270-256-3051 to look at the truck.
