James Estill Embry

James Estill Embry, 83, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday December 6, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. James was born April 1, 1935 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Costello and Floy Belle Embry. He was a United States Army Veteran, member of Oak Ridge General Baptist where he served as a Deacon and on the Oak Ridge Christian Academy School Board. James was a member of the 5th District Volunteer Fire Department and served on the 5th District Fire Dept. Board.

Linda A. Givens

Linda A. Givens, 72 of Rochester, Kentucky passed away Friday November 30, 2018 at her residence. Linda was born October 1, 1946 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Henry C. and Betty Wester Peay. She was a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church and she retired from Kellwood Co. after 30 years.

Linda A. Givens is survived by her husband Alton F. Givens of Rochester, KY; one son Jeffrey A. Givens of Rochester, KY; one grandson Colten Givens of Rochester, KY; one sister Phyllis Pendley of Morgantown, KY; and one nephew Greg Pendley of Morgantown, Ky.

James E. Rogers, 95, of Cromwell, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Ohio County Hospital. He was born September 25, 1923 in Butler County to the late Archie Rogers and Pearl Keown Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a United States Army Veteran of World War II; he worked in construction and was a member of Ohio County Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Charlda Ann Chapman

Charlda Ann Chapman, 80 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Charlda was born August 28, 1938, in Tyler, Texas to the late Reginald and Polly Starnes Chapple. She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church, Graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and retired from Butler County High School after 32 years as an English teacher and Librarian. Charlda was a dedicated mother and devoted Christian. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling the United States with Women's AGLOW, spreading the gospel and sharing her faith.

Lucas Matthew "Luke" Embry 19 of Odenville, Alabama passed away Friday, November 23, 2018, at his grandparents' residence in Morgantown, KY. Luke was born June 11, 1999, in Bowling Green, KY to Grant Joseph and Mieke McPherson Embry who survives. He is preceded in death by one aunt Renee Quinn.
