In Butler County High School Tennis action, the teams hosted Ohio County on Tuesday, March 27. The girls handled the Lady Eagles with ease defeating them 9-0 while the boys were defeated 2-7 by the Eagles.

Over the weekend the BCHS Bears traveled to South Warren High School for the South Warren Leadoff Classic Tournament. The Bears faced-off against Allen County-Scottsville, South Warren, and Hancock County.

The Butler County Bears' softball team got back on the winning track Friday night with a 15-1, 5-winning win at McLean County. The Bears used a 12-hit attack, solid defense and consistent pitching to earn the win.

The BCHS tennis teams hosted Cloverport on Friday night. The boys match counted as a varsity match, whereas the girls match counted as a junior varsity, allowing for the less experienced on the girls tennis team a chance to compete.
