NWTF Banquet

McKenzie Coleman won the Limited Edition Gun.

The 17th Annual National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Hunting Heritage Banquet was held on Saturday night at the Educational Complex.  The event is hosted each year by the Butler County Longbeards Chapter.

All Veterans in attendance were presented special pins and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Attendees were severed a catered dinner by Green River Caterers, had several chances to win a variety of prizes, participated in both a live and silent auction.  The live auction raised over $3,400  for the “Save the Habitat, Save the Hunt” program, designed to preserve America’s heritage by preserving land and encouraging species development.

The top prize of the evening was the Limited Edition Beretta 92F gun.  The lucky winner was McKenzie Coleman, daughter of Stephanie and Mac Coleman.

Donations were made by: Gary and Tammy Plamp, D&G Hunting and Archery, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, Hoods Market, Firehouse Pizza, Barbie’s Hair, Greenwood Ford, R.B. Griffin, and Pogue Chevrolet, Buick and GMC.
