The Kentucky General Assembly convened its 2015 Regular Session this week, and I was excited to begin as a member of the Senate Majority. Our priorities are summed up best as working to ensure quality Kentucky Jobs for Strong Kentucky Families.

According to Butler County Sheriff Scottie Ward, several local individuals have had their credit cards skimmed. Although their cards never left their possession, someone has their card information and is making fraudulent charges on their accounts.

Butler County Middle School's 24th Annual Geography Bee was held Friday, December 19, 2014. Following several classroom rounds held in November, ten student finalists participated in the school-wide competition. Alex Rich, an 8th grade student, took the top prize. Rich won the B.C.M.S.
