Local artist Gail Smrtic completed Morgantown’s latest mural Tuesday. With the help of her husband Gary and nearly 25 hours of work in 2 days time, Smrtic said she was tired, but the effort was worth it.

A single vehicle accident claimed the life of a Bowling Green native Saturday morning in Butler County. Jennifer Jade Baize, 24, of 3353 Bow Drive, Bowling Green, was traveling west on KY 70, Rochester Road, around the 6000 block.
