Fatal Accident on Rochester Rd

A single vehicle accident claimed the life of a Bowling Green native Saturday morning in Butler County.  Jennifer Jade Baize, 24, of 3353 Bow Drive, Bowling Green, was traveling west on KY 70, Rochester Road, around the 6000 block.  She was in route in a 2006 Pontiac G6, from 318 South Tyler Street in Morgantown to A. Meredith Road of KY 70 to attend a wedding.   Dispatch received a call at 7:50a.m. that there was a collision just before B&R Lumber. Butler County Chief Deputy Heath West, EMS, and Rescue Squad responded. Baize was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Brian McKinney and Butler County coroner Marty Jones. According to the police report the evidence at the scene indicated that the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road then the driver over-corrected to the left causing the vehicle to cross both lanes and travel off the left side of the roadway until its impact with a tree.  The vehicle came to a final rest facing south.  It appeared she was not wearing a seat-belt.

Jennifer Baize  is survived by her mother, Wanda Baize; brother, Jason Baize; and grandmother, Florence Baize, all of Bowling Green.

Jennifer worked for LabCorp as a phlebotomist at Hewitt, Davis & Lyons in Bowling Green. Jennifer was a 2007 graduate of Warren Central High School and a 2011 graduate of Daymar College.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. Thursday until the funeral hour.
