Butler County Sheriff’s Deputy Justin Deweese responded to a dispatch call at the 4700 block of Bowling Green Road on Thursday, September 12th.  According to two witnesses, a 3-year-old child had been physically abused by Caleb N. Houchens.  The Kentucky Department of Social Services was notified and responded.  Houchens was not at the residence when police arrived. 

A warrant was issued for Caleb N. Houchens, 26, of 3110 Humes Ridge Road, Williamstown, Kentucky.  He was arrested on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at a residence on Saw Mill Road in Morgantown and lodged in the Butler County Jail.  Houchens is charged with criminal abuse, 1st degree, child 12 or under.
