At 2 am this morning, Warren RECC responded to reports of a power outage on Leonard Oak Road and upon arriving on the scene, they found a young bobcat on top of the pole.

New Liberty Baptist Church hosted Rapture Ruckus and Building 429 in concert on Saturday at the Butler County High School gym. Organizers were pleased with the turnout.

The Republican Party is alive and doing well in Butler County. At least that seemed to be the consensus on Saturday night as over 100 people gathered for the Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner at the Butler County Educational Complex. U.S.

Fire strikes again in Butler County. On Sunday evening firemen responded to a house fire on Mooretown Road. The house, which belongs to Mac Coleman, was a total loss.

District boundaries are set to be drawn this week as legislators meet in special session to hash out legislative redistricting.
The General Assembly returns to Frankfort today. The House of Representatives convened at 11 a.m. CDT while the Senate was to begin at 3 p.m. CDT.
