Butler Countians will participate in Impact Kentucky

Butler Countians will participate in the third annual Impact Kentucky, a community service ministry organized  by the Kentucky United Methodist Church Conference. This year’s day of service is August 24, 2013 and more than 2,000 volunteers from across Kentucky will perform dozens of outreach mission projects in the four western Kentucky districts of the UMC, including the Bowling Green area.  In Butler County, the day’s events include a gospel sing-along with residents of Morgantown Care and Rehab. at 10:00 and volunteer work at Morgantown Mission from noon to 3:00.  The Morgantown First United Methodist Church  will be open for prayer from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.   All interested persons are invited to drop by and spend some quiet time with God in prayer.
