Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky is developing a Bachelor's of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Bluegrass Music. Brescia is partnering with Owensboro Community and Technological College in a two by two degree program.

City, county officials take their respective Constitutional oath of office to start the new year and their new term of office.

On Tuesday, December 30, Chief Circuit Judge Ronnie C. Dortch presided over the swearing in ceremony of the elected officials of Butler County.  “I have been on the bench since 1986 and then I was swearing in Jim Bat, Walter Chyle, and J.V. McKinney,” said Judge Dortch.
