It's out with the old and in with the new as First Baptist Church in Morgantown is eyeing the construction of a fellowship hall.  In the meantime, the church moved forward this week with the demolition of its rectory located adjacent to the main sanctuary structure.

On Monday April 1st, Judge Executive David Fields signed a proclamation that deems April 6th Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation Day in Butler County. WRECC has been established for 75 years and has provided electricity to over 60,000 homes and businesses in the area.

The Morgantown Butler County Chamber of Commerce held their monthly luncheon on Thursday, March 28, at the Butler County Extension Office.  Jim Green presented a “Lunch & Learn” session on leadership.  Green, a Butler County School Administrator, is also a certified member of the John C.

Jillian Johnson attempted to pick-up an 8th grade student following an incident at the school on Tuesday.

The theft of approximately $400 from Butler County Middle School on Monday, March 25th, was apparently the cause of that student running from school on Tuesday.  The money was taken from inside a teacher's desk.  Afte
