On Friday April 12, 2013, Neace Lukens and Broderick & Davenport, PLLC present the Community Big Shot Sporting Clays Tournament benefitting Community Action of Southern Kentucky. The tournament will be held at Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City, KY. For a $50 fee, each shooter will receive lunch, 100 targets, a reception at Cave Valley Winery with entertainment and the chance to win CASH prizes, door prizes and the title of Community Big Shot. Thanks also to All levels of shooting ability are welcome, whether you are new to sporting clays or a pro! Come out and spend a fun afternoon and evening in a safe shooting environment and give back to your community at the same time!

Community Action of Southern Kentucky helps people in our local area with opportunities to be self reliant, ranging from early childhood education, services to help senior citizens live productive lives in their own home, to programs that are tailored to the needs of our individual communities.
 

In 2011 – 2012:

·         Community Action of Southern Kentucky reduced or eliminated 24,800 conditions of poverty.

·         2,843 infants, children, youth, parents, & other adults participated in child & family developmental or enrichment programs & achieved program goals.

·         6,874 low-income vulnerable individuals (seniors and/or disabled) received services from Community Action and maintained an independent living situation as a result.

·         10,492 low income individuals and families received emergency assistance from Community Action’s Community Services.

The Community Big Shot begins with lunch and contests at noon on April 12, 2012 with the shooting tournament following at 1:30pm. A reception with entertainment will begin at Cave Valley Winery at approximately 4:00pm. If you do not shoot and still want to contribute to Community Action, you may attend the reception for only $15.
