The Butler County Sheriff's Office and the Kentucky State Police conducted a search at 158 Elvie Pendley Road, Morgantown, the home of Michael W.

On Monday, April 3, 2017, the Morgantown Police responded to 216 South Main Street regarding a burglary at the El Azteca Restaurant.  When Officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with the owner of the restaurant.  During the burglary, the suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Morgantown- Butler County Tourism Commission recently held their meeting at the Morgantown City Hall.  They heard requests for funding from three different groups including the Green River Museum, Rochester Ladies Auxillary, and the Butler County Tractor and Small Engine Club.
