April 6th 1917 -America declared war against Germany for the start of World War I. Mayor Bily Phelps proudly met with the Veteran of Foreign War Post 5837,  American Legion Post 151 & VFW Auxiliary to sign a Proclamation honoring the sacrifices of so many who have served from Morgantown and to encourage everyone to remember and commemorate our entry into World War 1.
