The NFAA (National Field Archery Associaiton) held their annual indoor archery contest at Chickasaw Archery in Shepherdsville on February 25 and 26. 18 archers from D & G Hunting & Archery met at Shoney's in Elizabethtown and had breakfast hosted by D & G.

North Butler Elementary Academic Team competed in Regional Governor’s Cup competition on Saturday, March 17, 2012.  Sierra Woodcock, Sarah Belcher, Colten Bratcher, and Camryn Newland competed in various events including Composition and Written Assessment on Saturday.

WKYU presents during the broadcasting session

Each student at Butler County High School got a taste of what their future may hold when they attended Career Day last Wednesday. Students sat through two sessions hearing from individuals working in 54 different fields ranging from military to art teacher to mortician.
