Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) are both caused by Retroviruses.  Both viruses cause permanent infections that cause suppression of the immune system.  Both viruses are seen commonly in the cat population.

It is time again for the Butler County Conservation Fish Fry.  It will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 5:00pm. the Conservation Club is in the Leonard Oak Community.  You are asked to bring a covered dish.  Everyone is welcome to come.

Hannah McClelland, a student at Butler County Middle School, received state recognition for her performance in the 7th grade talent search. Duke University invites 7th graders who have qualifying scores on standardized tests in elementary or middle school to take either the SAT or ACT.
