Monticello Baptist Children’s Christmas Program

Sunday November 25, the children of Monticello Baptist Church had their annual morning Christmas program.  After the welcome by Pastor Randy Burns and announcements by Shane Wells, there was offering taken and responsive reading by the congregation.

After more Christmas hymns, responsive reading continued, followed by scripture passages read by Brandon McGuyer.  Another hymn followed.  The children then presented The ABC’s of Christmas, where there was a sentence read corresponding with every letter of the alphabet.  The congregation sang “Hark The Herald”, followed by Nathan Johnson reading of The Christmas Story.  The congregation sang “Away in a Manger”, followed by the children presenting The Nativity.

Afterwards, everyone adjourned to the basement for soups, sandwiches, desserts and fellowship.  Special thanks to Joy Wells, Nathan Johnson, Delia Burns and al kids and other participants of this wonderful program.
