Members of the Butler County Emergency Medical Services, or BCEMS, kicked-off National EMS Week this past Sunday with a cookout at the city park. Dispatchers, Paramedics, and EMT's gathered along with their families to spend the afternoon together in fellowship.

The Morgantown City Pool is set to open on Saturday, May 26. Pool hours Monday through Saturday are 10 am to 5 pm. The pool will be open from 1 to 5 on Sundays. Children 15 and under can get in for $2.00 while everyone 16 and older will pay $4.00.
The Butler County High School gym was packed as friends and family members of the Class of 2012 gathered to watch their loved ones graduate. One hundred thirty-eight (138) graduates proudly crossed the stage and received their diplomas along with a handshake with Superintendent Scott Howard.
