Diana G. Hankla, Author, of Hope Island, spoke to Butler County Writers group at the March meeting.She shared her love of writing and how Butler County publisher,Heart to Heart Publishing,Inc accepted her book for publication and her journey into the world of literary art.

Temple Hill Church will host our annual Easter Story and Egg Hunt on April 19. Children may have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny from 12:30 to 1:45. The Easter story will begin at 2:00 PM followed by the Egg Hunt. Everyone is welcome.

During the week of March 24th-28th, Butler County Middle School has been celebrating Operation Preparation – Career and College Readiness.  Each year the state of Kentucky, encourages schools across the state to bring awareness to career and college options for students after high school.

The Butler County Middle School DARE award ceremony and graduation was held on Friday March 28. 162 graduates sat in the gym and enjoyed an afternoon filled with great demonstrations and speaking before receiving their certificates.
