Dakota Porter has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship at Transylvania University. She is a senior at Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky where is has a 4.04 GPA and is one of the valedictorians of her class. Dakota is the granddaughter of J. and Nyla Van Fleet of Huntsville.
