The Jones Funeral Chapel received the following thank you note from the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association to share with the community:

 To the Community of Butler County, Morgantown, Kentucky, on behalf of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association (CFDA) and our members at 220 funeral homes in the state, we thank you for your generous contribution.

In the aftermath of the tragedy in Newton, more than 160 licensed funeral directors from all over Connecticut stepped forward and volunteered their expertise and time to help the funeral homes that were serving families.  It was our honor to do so. 

Your support for the work of our association and our members means a great deal and we are very grateful. 

As the families and residents of Newtown try to rebuild their lives and their community, we wish them peace and healing.
 
"Several people from Morgantown and Butler County donated money, which was sent to Newtown, Connecticut, during the tragedy," said Missy Jones Gary.
