Morgantown Elementary Jr Beta Club hosted a Can Drive for the Morgantown Mission. Students at MES brought in cans for the drive. The primary and intermediate class bringing in the most cans won a pizza party. The primary class winner was Mrs.

Six students from BCMS band attended the 68th annual Quad-State Middle School Band Festival at Murray State University. Around 200 students from the Quad State area performed in groups of 50 forming four different bands: Gold, Blue, White and Green.
