The 1952 graduation class of Morgantown High School will have their 60 year class reunion May 26, 2012 at 6 pm at the Butler County Library in Morgantown (Come to the back door).

A dinner meal is planned and the cost will be $15.00 per person.

Morgantown Church of Christ youth group competed in Lads to Leaders convention in Indianapolis on April 5th-8th. This convention consists of a variety of Christian Competitions where each church has an assigned young man or woman to compete in the targeted area.

LOUISVILLE, KY  4/19/2012 -  Butler County High School students and their teacher, Brandon Embry were honored on Thursday, April 19, in Louisville at the Pendennis Club for placing first in the State in the Economics Challenge.

Example of Altered Canvas

2nd Saturday Crafts will be held Saturday, May 12, from 10 am – 12 Noon at the Butler County Extension Office, Morgantown.  Crafters will learn to do “Altered Canvas” which is a method of creating 3-dimensional wall-hangings using paper and artist canvas.
