The Butler County Rural Development Steering Committee will host its first bean luncheon on October 17th to raise money for Butler County Fair Premiums.  The Rural Development will offer brown or white beans, cornbread, a homemade dessert, and a drink for $5.  Meals will be available at the Exten

The Butler County Graduating Class of 1962 will meet on Saturday October 13th 2012 at the Butler County High School to celebrate this milestone. Social hour begins at 6:00 PM with dinner following at 7:00 PM.

Butler County NSDAR chapter will be having its annual Christmas Home Tour on Sunday, December 2, 2012.  This year  you can begin your tour with the Butler County Education Preservation 5th annual fundraiser Festival of Trees starting at 11:00AM at 109 North Main, formerly Cousin Don’s.

The 2nd District Volunteer Fire Department held their annual fund raiser on Saturday.  Activities started around 10:00am and concluded with Bruce White auctioning cakes, pies, pictures, mums, and a variety of items.
