Willye Farris Dye Walker

Willye Farris Dye Walker, 86, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Signature Healthcare of Hartford with her family by her side. She was born September 21, 1932 in Ohio County to the late Bradley Sutton and Lula Mae Whitehouse Sutton. Ms. Walker was a caretaker and member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin B. Dye; one son, Donald R. Crowder; one stepson, Michael Dye; one son-in-law, Mark A. Young; two sisters, Celda Phelps and Gayla Burden and three brothers, J.W. Sutton, Hubert Sutton and Ezell Sutton.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Elaine (Mike) Southard of Beaver Dam; four stepdaughters, Penny Lindsey of Lindseyville, Kentucky, Jonelle Woolen of Olaton, Darlene Clark of Round Hill, Kentucky and Bonnie Vincent of Rocky Hill, Kentucky; one stepson, David Dye of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Crystal (Anthony) Embry of Hartford and Natalye (Coty) Jones of Beaver Dam; four great grandchildren, Everett West, Jr., Gabe West, Nolan Embry, and Mark Young-Warren; two brothers, Gregory (Penny) Sutton of Beaver Dam and Vandell (Lana) Sutton of Beaver Dam and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 6, 2019 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. John Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Ms. Walker’s family Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
