William Otho Abbott, 72 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his residence. William Otho was born August 5, 1941 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late William O. and Golden Proctor Abbott. He was a member of New Midway Baptist Church and retired from Southern States Fertilizer in Russellville, Ky.
William Otho Abbott is survived by his wife Martha Neely Abbott of Morgantown, Ky.; 2 sons Michael Abbott wife Lisa of Morgantown, Ky. and Tony Abbott wife Glenda of Russellville, Ky.; 2 grandsons Cory Abbott wife Stephanie of Sharon Grove, Ky. and Shelby Abbott of Russellville, Ky.; 2 great grandchildren Austin and Dixie Abbott of Sharon Grove, Ky.; 1 brother Clyde Abbott wife Jane of Russellville, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 1:00pm with Bro. Jimmy McIntosh officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Wednesday from 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
