William Estil Mason passed away on April 10, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY, at the age of 63.

He was born on October 23, 1962, in Morgantown, KY, and lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a spirited sense of humor that those who knew him will always remember. William was the son of the late Bunie Ray and Ellen Louise Embry Mason, and he carried the values of his upbringing with him throughout his life.

William spent 26 years working as a Machine Operator at NASCO in Bowling Green, KY, where he was respected for his steady work ethic and dependable nature. He took pride in doing a job well and was known as someone who could always be counted on. Outside of work, he enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, tinkering with projects, sitting on the porch, and doing yardwork. These simple pleasures reflected the practical, hands-on way he approached life, and they brought him many quiet moments of enjoyment.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 12 years, Tracy Mason of Morgantown, KY; his daughter, Jessica Fay Mason of Taylorsville, KY; his two step-children, Dustin Reynolds (Sonja) of Dunmor, KY, and Heather Reynolds of Greenville, KY; and his three grandchildren, Robert Ruthstrom of Taylorsville, KY, Destiny Reynolds of Dunmor, KY, and Shaylee Reynolds of Dunmor, KY. He is also survived by his siblings, Donald Mason (Nina) of Morgantown, KY, Willma Barrow and her husband Allen of Morgantown, KY, Billy Mason (Sandy) of Ohio County, KY, and Donna Howard (Joey) of Morgantown, KY, along with several nieces and nephews.

William was described by those who loved him as funny, handy, and spirited, and those qualities were evident in the way he lived each day. He had a way of bringing laughter to those around him, and he was always willing to lend a hand or figure out a solution when something needed fixed. His presence brought warmth and energy to his family and friends, and his memory will remain a source of comfort to all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Darrell Moran officiating. Burial will be in the Sandy Creek Cemetery with Cody Johnson, Joey Barrow, Everett Mason, Jacob Mason, Adam Mason and Josh Mason serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 8:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
