William "Billy Ray" Boisseau

William “Billy Ray” Boisseau, age 51, of Cedar Hill, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Nick Stamps officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Jackson, Brandon Bond, Mitch Bond, Drake Scarbrough, Odell Grant and Stephen Southerland serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 4-8pm and again on Friday from 11am until the time of service at 1pm.

Mr. Boisseau was born November 5, 1965 in Logan County, Kentucky to the late Sara Juanita Rippy Grant and Mr. Bobby Ray Boisseau of Russellville, KY. He worked for the Robertson County Highway Department.

In addition to his mother Mr. Boisseau is preceded in death by his step-father, Clifton Grant; grandparents, Guy and Ruby Boisseau and Richard and Francis Pitty.

In addition to his father Mr. Boisseau is survived by his step-mother, Joyce Boisseau of Russellville; brothers, Ronald (Janna) Boisseau and Bobby DeWayne Boisseau, both of Russellville, and Kelly (Georgianne) Covelli and Scottie (Ami) Covelli, both of Chicago, IL; sisters, Kay (Ricky) Romans of Morgantown, KY, Reba (Mike) Scarbrough of Pleasant View and Connie (Mike) Southerland of Russellville; 17 nieces and nephews; and 7 great-nieces and nephews.

Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
